So until I get my fucking foot looked at, running isn’t in the mix again for a while.
Which is goddamn INFURIATING because I had just gotten back up to half mile intervals.
But ok. I have done something excruciatingly painful to my foot. And I’m so fucking shit at loving and not punishing my body that I ignored it for months because it just felt so good to run again. So I’m paying the price (again) and learning the lesson (again) that I need to listen and do something else for a while.
So I just started powerlifting, and guys? I FUCKING LOVE IT.
So, since I’ve recently been mostly using this space for accountability with my runs, I’m going to switch over to accountability for my lifts.
And look, I’m a fat weeny person so I know what I’m lifting is bullshit, but cut me a break. I literally JUST started. As of last night:
Squat = 110 lbs
Bench = 100 lbs
Deadlift = 180 lbs
I picked up heavy things and put them back down again
